Hannah is a documentary filmmaker, a freelance director and producer. She began her career in broadcast journalism, where she developed her passion for visual storytelling as a reporter. Hannah produced stories and reported for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation for 7 years from around Australia and overseas.

Arriving in Aotearoa in 2016, Hannah continued to evolve her skills in documentary as both a producer and director. She has directed work for the Department of Conservation, the Ministry of Social Development, TradeMe, KiwiRail and Education New Zealand, amongst many others.

She was the driving force behind two seasons of the New Zealand On Air-funded and award-winning short documentary series, Frame, a collaboration between Wrestler and The Spinoff. 

More recently, she directed 3 episodes of the new television series Shepherdess, for Sky Open.

Hannah’s personal work is propelled by her deep love of the earth and the non-human world, finding beauty in the mundane and questions around what it means to be human.
