A cinematic short documentary series exploring current affairs and contemporary life in Aotearoa.

After Season 1 premiered on The Spinoff website, the initial 7 fillms ignited conversation and were widely shared, leading to the creation of six more films for Season 2.  

Stories include the fight to save New Zealand’s iconic kauri tree from extinction, a small town beset by an environmental nightmare and a behind-the-scenes look at Chlöe Swarbrick’s highly successful 2020 campaign for Auckland Central.
